Turkey burgers are the perfect meal for spring and summer days. They’re easy to throw together and even grill up outside for any event. I find that sometimes ground turkey needs a little extra flavor to really make it shine, and that’s exactly what this choice of ingredients does. Onions, sun-dried tomatoes, and feta combined with the herbs elevate the turkey burger and bring in those Mediterranean flavors. Chop up the ingredients as fine or as course as you’d like. You can also add as much of the herb flavorings as you’d like depending on the flavors you’re going for.

Tzatziki Sauce

It’s important not to skip on the Tzatziki sauce because this is where the burger will get a lot of flavor apart from the burger patty. If you have the time, making your own Tzatziki sauce will make the burger taste so much better than one from the store. But whether you make your own or get one from the store, make sure to have it on hand.

Once you are ready to put the burgers together, slather the sauce on the buns, then pile up the cucumber, tomato, and lettuce along with your turkey burger patty.

Cooking Techniques: Skillet or Grill

For those mouthwatering Mediterranean Turkey Burgers, you’ve got two cooking methods to choose from: a skillet or a grill. If a skillet is your go-to, just heat up a little but of oil over medium heat. Put the patties in and cook them until they are golden brown, flipping them halfway through. This should take 5-7 minutes. On the other hand, if grilling is more your style, preheat it to medium-high and grill each patty to perfection without charring.
