Nurturing friendships, especially as an adult, requires intentional effort that in today’s fast-paced world can be hard to do.
What better way to deepen connections than a girls’ night filled with laughter, shared experiences, heart-to-heart conservations, and lot’s of fun.
These are some of the ways you can organize a night together with friends and create memories to remember throughout the years.
DIY Spa night
What better way to spend a girls night than to create a fun spa night at home? Make a fun, relaxing spa experience at home with DIY natural home masks, manicures and pedicures.
This fun night will get everyone pampered and create a bond with open conversations. Don’t forget to set a relaxing mood with candles and music!
At Home Cooking class
Whether you pick a new recipe to learn altogether or you whip up a batch of your favorite chocolate chip cookies, cooking together is a fun way to spend time together.
If your friend group has people from different countries, you can each have a night where you teach each other how to make a dish from your country.
Another option is to make a dish you can freeze (like meat dumplings) so that each one takes home a meal that can be eaten on a busy week night.
Park Picnic
Bask in the beauty of nature as you go on a leisurely picnic with friends. The fresh air is good for the soul and combined with time well spent with friends, there’s no better way to get refreshed.
Make sure to pack some outdoor games and create a fun space with beautiful settings, flowers, blankets, and pillows.
Game night
A game night is always a fun choice for a girl’s night. Have everyone bring their favorite board game and play each game throughout the night.
Playing games that require teams can help build camaraderie and create better bonds. Set the game room with plenty of room and snacks to go around.
Crafting Party
Is your friend group pretty crafty? Even if not, it can be fun to learn a new craft and make it all together. It is a time to get creative or learn a new skill.
This can be card making, candle making, art, or many more different kinds of crafts. The craft needs to be simple enough so that everyone can learn and participate to have a great time at the crafting party.
book club
Have your friends all agree on a book that everyone will read and then have book club get togethers. Decide on how many chapters everyone needs to read and then pick a night out of the week where everyone gets together and discusses the book.
Depending on the book, you can learn more about the author, when it was written, the hidden meanings, what will happen in the end, and have more discussion questions prepared. Of course, don’t forget the drinks and snacks!
karaoke night
You will need some equipment to host a fun karaoke night, because what’s the fun in singing without a mic? If you don’t already have a setup, you can rent a karaoke machine from your nearby shop.
Add in disco balls, lights, and even create a stage for the ultimate karaoke night. After that, it’s all about the singing, laughing and cheering each other on.
Escape room
Escape rooms have become a popular activity and for good reason. Solving puzzles, unraveling mysteries, and working as a team create an adrenaline-fueled experience.
Having to figure it out together with your friends before the time runs out can be good bonding time. Many escape rooms allow up to 8 people so the whole friend group can join in on the fun!
themed dinner party
Themed dinner parties bring a wave of fun and creativity to the gatherings. From dressing up to décor and cuisine, it’s an opportunity to immerse in a chosen theme—be it a decade, a movie, or a cultural vibe.
Include themed delicacies, games, costumes and decorations to have the ultimate themed dinner party. If you want a simpler themed dinner party, have each person bring a themed charcuterie board.
