One of my favorite things to make is banana bread. It’s so delicious and it is one of those baked goods that is just as good without any sugar. The sweetness from the bananas and the added honey are enough for the banana bread to be sweet.
So, if you are craving some banana bread that is on the healthier side without any processed sugar but is still sweet, moist, and delicious, this might be the one to try.

Banana bread is a great way to use those overripe bananas that would otherwise go to waste. By using honey, you are adding nature’s sweetness that is full of benefits instead of processed sugars that feed inflammation.
Here are some helpful tips to get the most out of your banana bread:
- This bread is quite moist so you can keep it at room temperature for no more than 2 days. If you want to keep it for longer, store it in the fridge for up to 5 days or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
- If you are going to freeze it make sure to slice it up before as it makes it easier to defrost it when it is sliced.
- You are able to substitute the type of oil you are using so if you want you could even use equal parts of melted coconut oil.
- Instead of white whole wheat flour you can use all-purpose flour if that is what you have.
Now, let’s get to the banana bread recipe!
